1.1 What's New in PowerPoint 2010?


Regions of the PowerPoint 2010 Screen
For anyone not used to PowerPoint, it is almost always a smart practice being familiar with the various in the screen.

For people people who got aboard with PowerPoint 2007, this screen can look very familiar. However, you'll find more recent and much more effective addendums to PowerPoint 2010 if this involves features, and several subtle additions if this involves slight changes to existing features in PowerPoint 2007.

File Tab - The completely new File tab inside the left corner in the ribbon, replaces the Office button. The majority of the same features are available and several capabilities are actually added.

Ribbon - The ribbon replaces the wordpress plugin in older versions of PowerPoint, right before PowerPoint 2007.

Status Bar - The Status bar shows current areas of the presentation, such as the current slide number along with what design theme was applied. A little Common tools wordpress plugin gives immediate access to features the presenter would use frequently.
